Early Spring Fun!

Oh what a fun day today was. We all woke up late and happy. It was a little chilly outside but definately worth spending a little time outdoors. After dragging out Arly's Tricycle and Pierre's Big Wheel we went for a quick ride down the street. I can definetly say that Pierre and Arly are without a doubt two different children. When it comes to anything physical that may include coordiation Pierre has it mastered, Arly's strengths are in her mind, speaking, comprehending, etc. I say this because my baby girl who is four cannot figure out how to peddle and steer, but her brother...well let's just say he could probably start and drive the car away if I gave him the keys. We had some more than adorable moments today. When they were riding their "bikes" Pierre was way far ahead of Arly, so because it was only me with them I would Run up to Pierre and have him wait for Arly, well when she was having trouble and he didn't want to wait anymore I asked him to go help her...so he ran back to her and pushed her to his bike...hopped on his bike and road many feet ahead again, and the routine was repeated a few times...he loves his sister so much, this portion of him reminds me so much of B.J. That boy had so much love and respect for me when we were little, and even now. And that makes me happy that I have a little girl and little boy to share the same love we did. Anyhow another cute thing happened. Arly fell over on her bike, she hit a popped up sidewalk or something, but when she fell she ofcourse screamed out in horror (she really does have one of those "oscar winning performances" when she cries), anyhow immediately Pierre gets off his bike, runs to her and helps her up.."are you okay arry" he says Arly without the L..its so sweet.

Growing Older...and how proud of a mother i am

Okay to start off this blog I have to say..."Happy Birthday to me!" I was up until about 1:00 last night unable to sleep. Mostly because I have been fighting a cold that is causing breathing problems when I am laying flat, and its causing irritation in my throat. Anyway, It's so weird how the older you grow the less important birthdays become. Ever since I started my new job I don't receive b-day presents from all the people that I use to assist. Truthfully that was really the only time I ever received "gifts." My parents don't really do the gift thing, but they are both taking me and my family out to dinner, which is better then some material thing I don't need.

Okay My Kids are SOOOO cute...I know everyone says there kids are the cutest so I do too... Anyhow, little things about them make me so proud to be a mother. For example they absolutely LOVE IT when we read books. I feel so bad though because sometimes I am too busy and want to put them to bed real quick, well the poor little boogers will cry and cry until I come in and read a book...but wait no way can I read only one book, I have to read about three until they are satisfied. Anyway I don't know why I ever hesitate because it brings so much joy to me and them, and they fall asleep quicker and sleep better.

Some cute little things that have been coming out of their mouths are...Arly is constantly being "a little mother" to Pierre, when he is acting up or being a little too hyper she will tell him "I'm going to spanka your butt Pierre"....or when he isn't listening to me she'll say "we are going to have to call the monster Pierre" (This is because when he isn't good I tell him I'm going to take him to the monster's house until he listens to me...this is horrible and I have quit doing this because he believes me...anyhow Arly still brings this up...Also just this morning Arly and I were watching Good Morning America and she stars calling out what color of eyes everyone has...She has Green Eyes, He has Brown Eyes, She has Blue Eyes...it was soo cute, I don't know where she picked it up...Now to talk a little about what clever things Pierre says...well it seems as though every single sentence that comes out of that boy's mouth has something to do with "Cars" I walk in the door from work, "Mama lets play the car game" I go to get him out of his bed on a Saturday morning "Mama where are my cars" Cars, Cars, Cars, his favorite thing...no but really he does say other things, a little more everyday. Yesterday Pedro took both kids outside to "play" because it was finally 50 degrees, anyway Pedro said Pierre was discovering all new things, spiders, the trees, everything...and everything he said in English Arly would correct him in Spanish like Cat and spider. Pedro needless to say was very proud.

Well time to end and get back to work

Documenting Time

I've been thinking about how fast time has been going and how quickly Arly & Pierre are growing. With that said, I want to remember all of our happy moments, so I've decided to start a blog so that I can document these moments and hopefully it will help me remember them for many many years. Words cannot explain how my family gives me such a deep satisfying happiness. I've recently been asked by our immigration attorney to speak about how important Pedro is to me, for some odd reason this has proven to be very difficult. I love him so much, I have a great respect for him because he is such a uniquely beautiful person, he cares so much for me, the kids and Rafaela it is undescribable...but my problem is that I have to somehow or nother express these feelings as detailed as possible, so that maybe our immigration judge will allow him to stay in the US with me and the kids. Ahh! why can't I just do it? .
